An important asset of wooden packaging is the environmentally friendly nature.
Especially in Europe the trees, poplar trees in particular, reduce significantly the CO2 amounts that are existing in the air. The trees will be replanted so that the existing forest cover is maintained.
The production process requires very little energy. The production itself is not polluting or not making any pollutting substances. There are no laundry or bleaches used as in the plastic and cardboard industrie.
At the end of the lifecycle of the crates, the remainder is used to generate energy. So green power!
